La Perla set to close on Saturday, July 16th

MILWAUKEE -- One of Milwaukee's popular Mexican restaurants is saying "adios" after 22 years. La Perla restaurant is set to close on Saturday, July 16th.

La Perla is located on the corner of S. 5th Street and National Avenue.

The restaurant posted the following to their Facebook and Twitter pages:

Milwaukee Alderman Jose Perez says the owners have already sold the building.
