PHILADELPHIA -- Wisconsin Congresswoman Gwen Moore took direct aim at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during her speech at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, July 28th.

"Fat pigs, dogs, disgusting. That is what Donald Trump thinks of women. That's what he sees in our daughters and our mothers and our sisters and our grandmothers of this country. Is that how he sees our place in America?" Moore told those gathered at the convention.

Moore said Hillary Clinton sees America with a very different vision. She said too many women have experienced sexual violence -- including herself. Moore said the voices of those survivors matter -- and they "will not shut up."

Moore said Clinton is someone she trusts with the presidency of the United States, "because she has stood up for us every time it has counted for women." Moore added, "I trust her because at each and every opportunity she has been a voice for the underrepresented and the unprotected. And as president, she will keep fighting for all of us."

Senator Tammy Baldwin also spoke Thursday, among a group of female senators.
