WAUWATOSA -- Wauwatosa police on Thursday, Aug. 23 offered new information after a murder-suicide Wednesday. The bodies of two men were found in a home near Warren and Church.
Police said one man, 54, was found with a fatal gunshot wound to his face/mouth area. The other, 40, was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the back of the head.
The 54-year-old man lived at the home where this happened, police said.
A semi-automatic handgun was recovered at the scene.

Police aren't releasing the names of the victims at this time, until next of kin notifications are made, but FOX6 News has learned the 54-year-old was a psychiatrist who recently divorced. A patient for four years, from Madison, showed up at the home Thursday, unaware of what took place there. She was stunned to learn the news.
"He was a good person. He was honest," said Savannah Sippy.
Sippy said he was working on opening a new practice and was temporarily seeing patients at his home. She even brought him a meal on Thursday.
"He was the first person I felt comfortable opening up to. It's absolutely heartbreaking," said Sippy.
She said their final conversation was positive, and surrounded a new relationship in his life.
"He seemed happy -- happier than when I used to see him before," said Sippy.
The investigation is ongoing. Police said the two men were known to each other.
