Four-year-old gives Pres. Obama a high five

GALESBURG, Ill. (CNN) -- Little Gage Maska's grandparents knew the little boy would love to see Air Force One land at the Quad Cities International Airport.

With an aunt who works in the White House, the little boy knows quite a bit about the Commander in Chief.

Once the President's plane landed, Gage got a little anxious because the action was seemingly over.

However, President Obama came to interact with the crowd, shaking hands just feet away from little Gage.

That's when President Obama and little Gage had the opportunity to exchange a handshake -- with Gage remembering President Obama called him "bud."

Gage hasn't let the experience go to his head, saying "there's cooler things to do!"
