MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Hundreds of people took advantage of a free community gift Saturday and Sunday. Thanks to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and FOX6 News, admission to the Milwaukee Art Museum is free all weekend.
It's February's gift for the year-long "Gifts to the Community" program.
Free admission includes the "50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair" exhibit, craft stations for visitors of all ages, and a sneak peek at museum renovations.
"The Milwaukee Art Museum is an iconic treasure in our community and we want everyone to be able to share in the joy of being inside this wonderful museum and to see this fabulous exhibit," said Greater Milwaukee Foundation President, Ellen Gilligan.
