MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- You've been collecting sports memorabilia for years -- and now there's an opportunity to find out how much the items are worth!
On Sunday, October 6th, fans got the chance to get their collectibles appraised for free.
Those looking to make a few bucks were able to sell their items on the spot.
The event was hosted by Clean Sweep Auctions.
"We're always looking for older cards -- you know, from the 1950s. We're looking for autographs from that period and anything from the great Packers teams from the 60s in particular," Steve Verkman with Clean Sweep Auctions said.
One fan brought in a rare sheet of uncut cards featuring Hank Aaron's rookie card.
Another brought in two Babe Ruth autographs. If those prove to be authentic, we're told they could be worth thousands of dollars.
