The problem happened in Arlington Heights Park at 35th and National.

Rep. Josh Zepnick (D-Milwaukee) called FOX6 News, disheartened by the state of the park -- with debris everywhere after the illegal fireworks show.

Zepnick said he heard the fireworks on Monday night, July 4th and went to check it out. He found multiple teenagers blowing off professional grade fireworks and firing them off right into traffic.

"This was not about fun, and totally about being disruptive and disrespectful to the neighborhood," Zepnick said.
Zepnick said he immediately called the police and waited for them to arrive. Once officers arrived, the teenagers ran off and police were unable to catch them.
