DHS: 2,122 new positive cases of COVID-19 in WI; 12 new deaths

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 2,122 Monday, Dec. 14, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 438,895.

There have been 4,068 deaths in the state, with 12 new deaths reported by DHS officials Monday.

Of the positive cases, 19,326 have required hospitalization (4.4%), while 390,003 have recovered (88.9%) making for 44,749 active cases (10.2%). 

More than 2.2 million have tested negative. More than 2.6 million have been tested.
