Death investigation near 67th and Congress
MILWAUKEE - Police are conducting a death investigation at a home near 67th and Congress.
A detective with Milwaukee Police District 7 said a restoration crew was cleaning an upper flat of a home Friday afternoon when they found human remains. The home had previously suffered a fire.
The victim is a 47-year-old Milwaukee woman, according to police.
The cause of death is under investigation.
