MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A committee of Milwaukee County supervisors rejected a proposal on Thursday, February 20th to have MV Transportation Inc., take over management of the county's bus system. MV Transportation is based in Dallas, Texas.
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele issued the following statement after the vote:
Abele has directed the Department of Transportation to explore every avenue on how to best move forward.
