Concern over car thefts in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Warnings are being given to people who work or go near the old Pabst Brewery in downtown Milwaukee. A recent car theft took place there -- and police believe it is connected to two others in the city.

Officials say another car theft took place near 10th and Juneau just after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14th.

Officials believe it's related to other similar incidents. The first incident took place on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at 4th and Galena. The second happened around 5 p.m. on Tuesday near 37th and National.

Now business owners and school officials nearby are alerting their staffs by email and word of mouth. Their message -- be aware of your surroundings.
