9 Pizza Hut restaurants shut down due to licensing issues reopen

MILWAUKEE -- Nine Pizza Hut restaurants were shut down due to licensing issues in the City of Milwaukee. Four of them reopened on Friday, Jan. 18. The other five reopened on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

As of Friday afternoon, the Pizza Hut restaurants at 3921 S. 76th Street, 6807 W. Brown Deer Road, 3555 S. 27th Street, and 10400 W. Silver Spring Drive were open once again.

The others, located at 5704 W. Capitol Drive, 3131 S. Kinnickinnic Avenue, 1840 S. 15th Street, 7604 W. Burleigh Street, and 2340 N Farwell Avenue reopened on Tuesday.

The EYM Group acquired the Pizza Hut locations and filed food license applications with the City of Milwaukee in November to document the change in ownership. A news release from the group said:
