SUSSEX -- 40-year-old Justin Hernandez now faces multiple charges in connection with an incident at a Sussex home early on Thursday, June 16th.
Hernandez faces the following charges:
According to the criminal complaint, the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a neighborhood in Sussex to investigate a report of shots fired in a home. The complaint indicates Hernandez was the live-in boyfriend of the woman at the residence -- and he allegedly fired multiple gunshots in and out of the home. He was "drunk and shooting randomly."
Officials say a woman and four other children were inside the home at the time of this incident.
Later, the complaint indicates police made entry into the home and "found Justin Hernandez asleep on the kitchen floor with a 9mm handgun located near his feet."
Hernandez was taken into custody -- and agreed to submit to a preliminary breath test, "the result of which was a reading of .179."
