Milwaukee’s “Slice of Ice” reopens with free skate rentals

The Slice of Ice skate rink in Red Arrow Park in downtown Milwaukee officially opens for the season on Thursday, December 4th at 4 p.m. To help kick off the event, WaterStone Bank will provide free skate rentals from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on opening day.

Rink hours through Dec. 20 are Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Additional hours this season are Sunday, Dec. 21–Tuesday, Dec. 24, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2-11 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 26-Monday, Dec. 30, 10 a.m.-midnight; and Tuesday, Dec. 31, 10 a.m.-1 a.m.
