MILWAUKEE - October is settling into a pretty quiet groove this week, with predominantly dry weather. Tuesday will be the windier day as south-westerly winds increase ahead of an approaching cold front. The front looks likely to pass Tuesday night without producing any, rain. Cooler air follows Wednesday before high pressure settles back across the region Thursday and Friday. A couple of disturbances will pass nearby late in the week, but there simply isn't much moisture available for them to work with. Even with some tropical moisture potentially creeping north late Sunday, our dry stretch looks increasingly likely to continue into early next week.
