WEST BEND -- West Bend police say there will be an increased police presence at West Bend High School Tuesday, May 3rd after a bomb threat was made at the high school Monday, May 2nd.The bomb threat was apparently made late Monday afternoon.

RICHFIELD -- Officials with the Washington County Sheriff's Office say a firearm being sold by a 66-year-old CCW permit holder to a buyer in the parking lot of an Ashley Furniture store in Richfield was stolen Tuesday, April 26th -- and shots were fired by the seller at the suspects as they fled the scene.

Thirty-seven 911 calls came in after reported 'explosion' heard in Jackson; man cited for bonfire

TOWN OF JACKSON -- Officials with the Washington County Sheriff's Office on Saturday evening, April 16th handled 37 calls regarding an explosion and fire on Sherman Road.The first call came in around 8:45 p.m. -- from an individual reporting a home had exploded and was fully engulfed with flames.Officials with the Jackson Fire Department and Washington County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the scene.While responding, an additional 37 calls came in -- from residents as far away as Slinger and West Bend.Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that there was not a house on fire.The flames were from a large bonfire in a field behind the home that had just been started.Officials say the man who started the fire indicated that he had started the fire in the same manner that he has in the past and that after the fire was started someone may have thrown some fireworks into the fire.

Portage Co. husband & wife found driving at 110mph on Highway 45 after Silver Alert issued

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- A Silver Alert was issued for a Portage County couple on Thursday night, April 7th, and they were found early Friday morning, April 8th, when their vehicle was clocked at 110 miles-per-hour on U.S. Highway 45 in Washington County.According to officials with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, a deputy was monitoring traffic on Highway 45 near County Highway PV in Washington County when the northbound vehicle was clocked at 110 miles-per-hour.Upon making contact with the driver and passenger, the deputy noted them to be confused and disoriented.The 90-year-old man and his 88-year-old wife indicated they were on their way to Georgia to visit family and didn't know why they had been stopped.

Third fatality in single day: 23-year-old Menomonee Falls man killed in crash in Town of Hartford

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- A 23-year-old Menomonee Falls man was killed in a crash in the Town of Hartford on Thursday, March 24 -- the second fatal crash in this area on this date.The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on County Highway K, south of Hall Road in the Town of Hartford.The crash involved two vehicles.Upon the arrival of deputies, it was determined that one driver, a 23-year-old Menomonee Falls man was deceased.The other driver, a 71-year-old Hartford woman suffered a minor injury.The Menomonee Falls man was the sole occupant of his vehicle.

GERMANTOWN -- The Germantown Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying the person in the attached photos in regards to an armed robbery at the Walgreens located on Pilgrim Road in Germantown.The robbery occurred Thursday, March 24th at approximately 9:30 a.m.According to police, the suspect went into the Walgreens and displayed a knife and a note demanding cash.The suspect was last seen running towards Francese Drive, east of Pilgrim Road and got into the driver's seat of a four-door silver Honda.Authorities describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 20 years old, 6'0" tall, 160 lbs.

Three horses found in Pike Lake State Park reunited with owners in Town of Hartford

WASHINGTON COUNTY -- Thanks to the efforts of the public, three unidentified horses that were found near Kettle Moraine Road in the Town of Hartford have been reunited with their owners.According to officials, the three horses, described as one pony and two riding horses, were found in the early morning hours in the Pike Lake State Park before moving south a few miles to Kettle Moraine Road Saturday, March 19th.
