MILWAUKEE -- The second annual Summerfest Rock 'n Sole Run will take place Saturday, June 23rd -- and organizers say there are improvements for the fun run.The Rock 'n Sole Run kicks off the week leading up to the 45th anniversary of Summerfest which begins Wednesday, June 27th.New in 2012, participants will enjoy live entertainment at points throughout the courses.

The Milwaukee World Festival officials have announced that Neil Diamond will headline the Marcus Amphitheater during Summerfest 2012.Rock icon, Neil Diamond, will feature his classic favorites on Sunday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m.Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings announced that Neil Diamond will be releasing an album December 6, 2011 called 'The Very Best of Neil Diamond - The Original Studio Recordings'.The new album will feature 23 of Diamond's most popular hits such as: "Forever In Blue Jeans," "Cherry, Cherry," "Sweet Caroline," "I'm A Believer," and many more.In June Neil Diamond will be starting his much-anticipated North American tour.
