Police: Suspect shot man, fatally stabbed woman in home near 70th and Fiebrantz

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police said a woman was fatally stabbed and a man was shot in an incident Tuesday morning, Feb. 5 near 70th and Fiebrantz.According to police, around 11:30 a.m., the suspect, a 42-year-old Milwaukee man, entered a home in the area and shot a 54-year-old man, seriously injuring him.The suspect then stabbed a 30-year-old woman, who died from her injuries.The 54-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his serious injuries.The investigation is ongoing -- and police said they were seeking the known suspect and a motive.
