ROSEMONT, IL -- Marquette's late run in the first half of Monay night's game at DePaul turned the game around, and set the stage for an 89-76 victory in Rosemont, Illinois.After getting blown out at Notre Dame on Saturday (which stopped a seven game winning streak), Buzz Williams Golden Eagles had a tough time getting off the ground.They trailed by twelve points before closing the first twenty minutes on an 11-2 run to trail by three at the break.Darius Johnson-Odom scored 9 of the 11 points.

MILWAUKEE -- Darius Johnson-Odom matched a season-high with 24 points and led No. 14 Marquette to an 81-77 victory over Villanova on Snday.Reserve forward Davante Gardner had 13 points and a career-high 10 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (12-2, 1-0 Big East), who responded from their worst performance of the season, a 17-point drubbing by Vanderbilt on Thursday, with a solid start to the conference season.Mouphtaou Yarou had 14 points for the Wildcats (7-7, 0-2) and JayVaughn Pinkston had a career-high 13.The Wildcats, without a scholarship senior, are off to their worst start in coach Jay Wright's 11 seasons and have lost seven of 10 after starting the season 4-0.Marquette led 42-39 at halftime and opened the first 2-plus minutes of the second half on a 9-0 run.

LSU upsets No. 10 Marquette, 67-59

BATON ROUTE, LA (AP) -- Ralston Turner scored 22 points and LSU extended its winning streak to five games while handing No. 10 Marquette its first loss of the season, 67-59 on Monday night.Turner hit two clutch 3-pointers in the final 4 minutes to give the Tigers the lead and added two free throws to make it 60-54 with 1:19 to go.

Marquette wins Paradise Jam championship
