Wisconsin DHS: Coronavirus cases up 752; deaths up 10
MILWAUKEE - The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 752 Saturday, Feb. 13, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported, for a total of 554,800.
There have been 6,161 deaths in the state, with 10 new deaths reported Saturday.
Of the positive cases, 25,268 have required hospitalization (4.6%), while 536,864 have recovered (96.8%), making for 11,616 active cases (2.1%).
More than 2.5 million have tested negative. More than 3.1 million have been tested.
As for the COVID-19 vaccine, DHS officials reported as of Saturday that 940,205 doses have been administered. To date, 1,152,025 doses have been allocated to Wisconsin.
The DHS reports that 232,178 Wisconsin residents have completed the two-shot COVID-19 vaccine series.

The agency's document is guidance and states that strict mask-wearing and social distancing would be necessary for a safe return to the classroom.
