Whitehall woman claims two $1 million Powerball prizes

MADISON (AP) -- A Whitehall woman has claimed two $1 million Powerball prizes at Wisconsin Lottery headquarters.

Lottery officials say Julie Trainor played two sets of numbers in the April 14 Powerball drawing. She changed only the Powerball she selected.

Trainor's ticket matched all five regular winning numbers in both sets.

The winning numbers were 14, 15, 16, 19 and 24, with a Powerball of 2. Trainor chose 3 and 12 for her Powerball numbers. After taxes, Trainor received a cash payment of $1,345,000.

Lottery officials say she does not want to discuss her win and has declined to take part in a winner's news conference.

The Whitehall Cenex convenience store that sold Trainor the winning ticket earns a commission of $40,000.
