DOOR CO. (WITI) -- Strong storms dumped heavy rain and an unusual amount of hail on the Township of Sevastopol in Door County late Monday night, July 14th.
The picture to your left was posted on the Door County Sheriff's Department Facebook page. It was taken on W. Dunn Rd. A sheriff's deputy reported the road was covered in three to four inches of hail.
The hail wasn't that large. It was only about the size of a grape. But, collectively it left a layer that looked like fresh snow in central Door County.
