Rick Santorum makes several appearances in Wisconsin Tuesday

JANESVILLE -- Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum spoke in Beaver Dam, Hartford and Janesville Tuesday - one week in advance of Wisconsin's presidential primary election next Tuesday, April 3rd. Santorum's message was the same at all three stops: an attack on President Barack Obama and Republican front-runner former governor Mitt Romney.

The two main issues Santorum spoke about Tuesday were health care and gas prices. Santorum has been ramping up the rhetoric in Wisconsin, attacking Romney on the health care topic.

Santorum didn't go as far Tuesday as he did Sunday in Wisconsin, calling Romney "the worst Republican" to take on Obama on the health care issue. However, he did continue stressing he is the man to make the argument against Obama's sweeping health care reforms and insurance mandate.

Additionally, the "Politico" website reported Tuesday night Newt Gingrich is cutting back on staff and campaign appearances, while trying to survive until the convention. FOX6's Henry Rosoff spoke with Santorum one-on-one Tuesday night, and Santorum said he'd appreciate the support from Gingrich supporters.
