Recognize this guy? West Allis police need your help to ID suspect in attempted assault



WEST ALLIS -- The West Allis Police Department is asking for your help to identify a suspect in an attempted assault.

Officers responded to a business near 77th and Becher St. just after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8th for a report of an attempted assault.

The initial investigation indicates an African-American male approached an adult female and asked her for change. The female pointed in the direction of a change machine and turned her back to the male. When she did this, the male grabbed her from behind, dragged her into a bathroom and demanded she remove her clothes. The victim was able to get away from the male and fled to a nearby business. The victim suffered minor injuries during the course of the altercation.



The suspect is described as a male, African-American in his 40s, approximately 5' 7" tall, having an average build and gray stubble on his face. The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, denim jacket, blue jeans, dark shoes and a black cloth covering his head. It appears the suspect arrived and left the scene on foot.
