Oconto County fatal crash; snowplow, sedan collide on US 41, 1 dead

OCONTO COUNTY, Wis. - A crash involving a snowplow and a sedan in Oconto County left one person dead on Sunday, Feb. 2. It happened on US 41 at Frog Pond Road.

What we know:
The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on USH 41 southbound at Frog Pond Road in Oconto around 8 a.m.
The initial investigation indicates the driver of a 2012 Cadillac CTS lost control, striking the back of a snowplow.
The snowplow operator was in the left turn lane and had stopped before the crash.

The driver and only occupant of the sedan, identified as 26-year-old Sarah Yedynak, sustained fatal injuries. The operator of the snowplow, identified as a 50-year-old man, was uninjured.
