Fire officials said they could not initially confirm the fire was caused by the fireworks display.

Multiple police and fire crews were on the scene, and brought the fire under control by 9:45 p.m.

There is no word on any injuries at this time.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

Following the fire, Oak Creek officials announced a temporary burn ban -- prohibiting residents from all outdoor fires with the exception of grills.

The use of personal fireworks is already illegal in the City of Oak Creek and cannot be used without a permit.

The burn ban includes fires in all outdoor fireplaces, pits, camp fires, bon fires and any other burning of yard waste or debris.

Officials say the ban will remain in place until further notice.
