MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says a pedestrian on I-43 near Brown Street was fatally struck by a vehicle early Sunday, Jan. 26.

What we know:
Before 5 a.m. on Sunday, investigators shut down all lanes on northbound I-43 at Fond du Lac Ave in Milwaukee because of this incident.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office was dispatched to the scene around 5:30 a.m. Sunday. The medical examiner identified the pedestrian as 59-year-old Melinda Page from Milwaukee.
Officials say the driver involved in this incident is not known.
