Milwaukee police chase ends with crash, 3 teens in custody

Milwaukee police arrested three teens after a police chase tied to a robbery ended with a crash on Friday afternoon, Jan. 24.

What they're saying:

It started near 60th and Hampton. MPD said officers spotted a vehicle wanted in a robbery shortly after 3 p.m. When officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver took off.

The chase ended when the suspects' vehicle crashed into a pole near 62nd and Villard, a little more than a half-mile from where the pursuit began.

Officers took two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy into custody. All three were taken to a hospital. Multiple guns were recovered at the scene.
