Kansasville 2-vehicle crash; driver taken to hospital, cause under investigation

One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Kansasville on Tuesday night, June 10. 

What we know:

Crews were dispatched to the intersection of CTH BD (formerly STH 75)/ S. Beaumont Avenue and Delaney Road around 10 p.m. 

When crews arrived at the scene, they found a black GM pickup truck, with major damage and airbag deployment, occupied only by the driver. Significant debris was strewn in the roadway and a second vehicle involved in the crash, a red Chevrolet Blazer with extensive damage and airbag deployment, was located about 150 yards north of the black pickup truck. 

The second vehicle was also only occupied by the driver at the time of the crash.

One driver was stabilized on scene, then transported to Aurora Medical Center in Mount Plesant with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. 

The other driver declined medical treatment or transport from the scene.

What's next:

The Racine County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
