Fundraiser held Tuesday evening for Gonzales family

GREENFIELD (WITI) -- A fundraiser for the family of Michael Gonzales was held Tuesday evening, March 26th to raise money for his funeral and for the family.

25% of the proceeds of sales at the McDonald's near 27th and Coldspring will go to that fund.

A family member of Michael Gonzales works at the McDonald's restaurant.

Meanwhile, the Greenfield Fire Department was on hand to sign families up for free smoke detectors.

The Greenfield Fire Department assisted in fighting the West Allis blaze that killed Gonzales and his friend, Isaiha Kobow.

Tuesday evening's fundraiser lasts until 8:00 p.m. at the McDonald's restaurant.
