DHS: 68K+ positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, 1,067 deaths, 59K+ recovered, 1M+ negative

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 740 Thursday, Aug. 20, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 68,233.

There have been 1,067 deaths in the state, with seven new deaths reported Thursday.

Of the positive cases, 5,469 have required hospitalization (8%), while 59,076 have recovered (86.6%), making for 8,072 active cases (11.8%).

More than 1 million have tested negative. More than 1.1 million have been tested.
