Body pulled from house fire identified as Ronnie Johnson

BROWN DEER (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office positively identified on Tuesday, December 31st, the body found inside a Brown Deer home that caught fire on Monday. That person is Ronnie Johnson.

Johnson's body was recovered from the home near 63rd and Wabash after the house fire was completely put out. Firefighters found the body after conducting a secondary search of the building.

Johnson was accused of sexually abusing students for more than a decade. He was set to stand trial in the case against him. Johnson faced a slew of criminal charges including sexual assault of a child under 13 years of age, repeated sexual assault of a child and child enticement.
