Anthony Weiner deletes Twitter account amid new sexting scandal

NEW YORK -- Former Congressman Anthony Weiner is back in the news again - for the same behavior that got him in trouble the first time.

Weiner appeared to delete his Twitter account on Monday following a report in the New York Post that he had recently sexted with another woman while his son slept next to him in his bed.

Weiner is married to Huma Abedin, the vice chair of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

He resigned from Congress in 2011 amid revelations of his sexting with other women.

His New York City mayoral campaign fell apart two years later when more online sexual misbehavior was discovered.

In May, a brutally honest documentary about that failed campaign debuted, leaving some to wonder if he was going to make another attempt at public life.
