1 injured in apartment fire near 49th and Forest Home

MILWAUKEE - Officials are investigating an apartment fire that broke out near S. 49th Street and W. Forest Home Avenue shortly after midnight on Monday, August 31.

A man living in the unit on fire was transported to the hospital for burns. There is no word on his condition.

There were no other injuries reported.

Officials do not have reason to believe the fire is of a suspicious nature.
