Forecast from FOX6 Chief Meteorologist Rob Haswell
MILWAUKEE - A progressive spring pattern remains in place across southern Wisconsin as another system quickly follows the cold front that passed early Friday morning.
Forcing associated with an upper-level trough and strengthening low-level jet will support scattered showers and a few strong to severe thunderstorms late Friday into early Saturday, with hail as the primary hazard. Recent rainfall increases the risk for localized ponding, particularly in areas that have already seen higher totals.
Conditions gradually improve Saturday with lingering wrap-around showers before high pressure brings a quieter and more seasonable stretch Sunday into early next week.
