Two of southeast Wisconsin’s premier programs went down to the wire, and then some. Arrowhead ultimately prevailed in double overtime over Wauwatosa East, to cap off a 28-2 season. The final was 80-74.

Whitefish Bay won a thriller over Beaver Dam for the Gold Ball. Free throw shooting was problematic, but Duke Pride shown through with four players scoring in double figures. The final in this one, Whitefish Bay 64, Beaver Dam 63.

Oostburg defends Div. 3 title, topping Wisconsin Dells

Oostburg successfully defended its title by winning convincingly in a battle between two 29-0 teams. The final was Oostburg 64, Wisconsin Dells, 37. Oostburg Coach Isaiah Ketterhagen’s daughters Riley, Ady, and Kinsley were key contributors to the victory. 

Milwaukee snow response pauses garbage, recycling collection

Milwaukee suspended garbage and recycling pickup, delayed leaf collection and kept parking rules unchanged on Monday, March 16, as the Department of Public Works shifted trash trucks and heavy equipment to snow removal.
