"This was a great win:" Wilmot Panthers defeat Cudahy Packers at Cudahy Memorial Stadium

MILWAUKEE -- The Wilmot Panthers took on the Cudahy Packers at Cudahy Memorial Stadium Football Field on Friday night, August 28th.

Packers Ruben Galvez fired a pass to the flat, where Nick Nowak caught it and gained 10 hard yards that set up the Packers' first score of the game.

The Wilmot Panthers, however, were on the prowl.

A.J. Frisby saucered one to Jordan Jesse, who was wide open for the 17-yard score -- making the game 33-6.

In the end, Wilmot Union High School won this one, with a final score of 41-13.

"This was a great win and I hope they enjoy it, you know, for the next 20 minutes or the bus ride home -- but we got a battle coming this Friday. If you know anything about high school football, Waterford's a stout team that we have to be ready for -- so that's the challenge facing us right now," Erick Kaiser, Wilmot head coach said.
