Milwaukee Wave announces beneficiaries of charity program

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Wave of Hope and Milwaukee Wave announced on Real Milwaukee the charities that have been selected as part of the 2012-2013 BMO Harris Bank campaign.

Each game, the players will wear a custom jersey with designs representing a local charity. The jerseys will be auctioned off with funds given to the charity.

The charities for the regular season games are the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Fisher House, Hunger Task Force, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, MACC Fund, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics Wisconsin, Susan G Komen Foundation and United Way of Greater Milwaukee.

The Summer Soccer Showcase game charity will be the Meta House.

The Making Waves School Day charity will be This Time Tomorrow Foundation.

The two-time defending MISL Champions Wave will host its first home game on Sunday, November 11th at the US Cellular Arena.
