Hayes scores 28 as No. 17 Wisconsin blows by Oklahoma

MADISON — Nigel Hayes scored 28 points as No. 17 Wisconsin shook off a slow start to beat Oklahoma 90-70 on Saturday.

The Badgers (7-2) trailed Oklahoma (5-2) the entire first half, but once they found their touch from outside the 3-point line, they put the game away.

Rashard Odomes put Oklahoma up 58-57 on a 12-footer before Bronson Koenig answered with a 3 that started a 20-3 run.

Koenig, Ethan Happ and D'Mitrik Trice all scored 16 points.

Odomes led Oklahoma with 17 points.
