14-0 Badgers belt Northwestern, 76-49

EVANSTON, Ill -- Freshman Nigel Hayes came off the bench to score a career-high 19 points as the Wisconsin Badgers won their 11th straight Big Ten Opener, 76-49 over Northwestern Thursday night in Evanston, Illinois.
Hayes, playing in his first conference game, poured in 13 points during a 16-2 run for Bo Ryan's team. The Badgers bench outscored the Wildcats 22-0 in the first twenty minutes.
Sam Dekker added 15.
Fourth-ranked UW extended its' best start in one hundred years to 14-0.
