Woman dies in three-car wreck in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- A 34-year-old woman was killed in a three-car wreck in Waukesha Tuesday morning. Waukesha police say the crash happened near North and Moreland Blvd just before 7 a.m.

Investigators say the victim was driving south and lost control of her vehicle. She ended up sliding into oncoming traffic.

Because the woman was not wearing a safety belt, she was thrown from her car.

One female was transported to the hospital by the Waukesha Fire Department for non life-threatening injuries and a male was treated on the scene and released.
