Wisconsin DOT to hear public comment on construction of I-794 ramps and related projects
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region, in partnership with the city of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County is announcing a public involvement meeting to discuss the construction of the I-794 ramps and related local roadway improvements.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21st, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Miller Room at O’Donnell Park, 910 East Michigan Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The meeting will be an open house format allowing participants to view concepts and provide feedback on the following:
WisDOT and city of Milwaukee representatives will be available to discuss the project and familiarize participants with the plans and design alternatives. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions.
The Milwaukee Lakefront Gateway Project is a unique collaboration among the state of Wisconsin, the city of Milwaukee, and Milwaukee County to improve connections to the lakefront, downtown Milwaukee and the Historic Third Ward. It also has the potential to create new development opportunities while improving access and safety.
