MILWAUKEE -- The spirit of giving is strong with one Milwaukee family this holiday season. On Wednesday, December 23rd, Vanessa Britton-Winston and her daughters gave away clothing to those in need.
Britton-Winston and her daughters Atalya and Adila gave away clothing they've been collecting to children at Clara Mohammed School.
The family collected the clothing with the hopes of opening up a resale store -- but Britton-Winston says her daughters noticed many of their friends needed clothing, and so they took it upon themselves to help out.
"They can look around and see that something just doesn't look right to them or something just doesn't seem normal to them -- and they're like, you know, why sell them? We could donate them and give them away to people who could put some good use to them," Britton-Winston said.
Between 70 and 80 children benefited from this family's kindness.
