WEST MILWAUKEE, Wis. - West Milwaukee police are investigating a two-vehicle crash and fire that happened on Tuesday night, Feb. 4 near 43rd and Burnham. It happened around 9:30 p.m.

What we know:
According to the police, the preliminary investigation revealed that the two vehicles involved collided, subsequently causing the fire to start.
Police said one of the vehicles ran a red light and hit an overhead traffic signal.

Everyone was able to safely exit their vehicles and no injuries were reported. Two people went to the hospital as a precaution.
A nearby apartment building was evacuated due to the incident.
