West Allis police need help to identify bank robber

WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- West Allis police are looking for the public's help to identify a bank robbery suspect.

The suspect walked into the bank near 80th and National Ave. around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, January 9th. He passed a note demanding money and placed a black plastic bag on the counter. A bank employee then put cash from the drawer into the bag before leaving the building.



West Allis Police Department detectives are trying to identify the offender and a female who was pushing a stroller in the area at the time of the incident.

The offender is described as a male of unknown race/ethnicity, 25-30 years of age, thin build, wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, white gloves and black ski mask.

The female subject is described as a female, white with a fair complexion, blonde hair, wearing a white jacket with blue sleeves, and bright-colored gloves. The female was pushing a baby stroller with a small child. This female is not a suspect, but detectives would like to speak with her as she was in the vicinity of the robbery.
