SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN — We Energies has reported about 250 customers without power “system wide” Wednesday morning due to the thunderstorms that passed through the area last night.
About 100 outages have been reported in Jefferson County, 80 in Milwaukee and the rest are single outages scattered throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
A We Energies spokeswoman says nearly 7,000 were without power during the peak of the outages at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
We Energies crews are out working to repair the outages and expect to restore power to all customers this morning.
