Wauwatosa police: 1 shot fired at apartment building near 63rd and North; no victim found

WAUWATOSA -- Wauwatosa police said evidence indicates one shot was fired at an apartment building near 63rd and North in Wauwatosa Wednesday afternoon, March 28. It happened just before 3 p.m.

Police said this appears to be an isolated incident involving individuals who know each other.

There is no danger to the public, police said.

As of 5 p.m., police hadn't located a victim.

"I'm a city girl, so I'm not quite surprised. This can happen anywhere, but it's a little close to home," said Lisa Litza, neighbor.

The investigation is ongoing.
