Walker, Falk, Barrett preparing for gubernatorial recall election

MILWAUKEE -- The fact that there will be a recall election against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker does not come as real news to anyone involved. Everyone is waiting to see who will go up against Walker in June.

On Friday, March 30th, the same day the recall election was confirmed by the Government Accountability Board, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett announced he will be running in the gubernatorial recall election. Barrett is one of two Democratic front-runners in the race to challenge Governor Scott Walker.

The other front-runner Former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk said: "He's a good friend, and we are all united in our eagerness here to have this election come very soon." Falk said she's already received several endorsements.

Walker says having more than 900,000 names on petitions, and having all those people turn out to vote are two separate things. One thing is clear, Walker and anyone else running in this race will have a lot of financial help to win this recall election.
