Voters take to the polls in three weeks! Governor Walker, Mary Burke making their final push

MADISON (AP) — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke says in the final three weeks before the election she will make the argument that Governor Scott Walker has failed the state and a change is needed.

Burke outlined her campaign platform in a conference call Tuesday, October 14th with reporters.

Walker met with the editorial board of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, during which he downplayed talks of a 2016 presidential run, said he wasn't pursuing making Wisconsin a right-to-work state and was not planning to expand the Act 10 collective bargaining law.

The next Marquette University Law School poll is slated to be released on Wednesday, October 15th. The last one, put out two weeks ago, showed Walker with a small 5-point lead.

Burke and Walker are scheduled to meet for their second and final debate Friday, October 17th.
