BROOKFIELD (WITI) -- The Von Maur department store is one step closer to coming to the Town of Brookfield.
The town's Community Development Authority voted unanimously to approve creation of the TIF District that would give the formal okay for the store to break ground.
It's a $125 million development project.
The town would put over $43 million toward the project.
The Town Board will vote on the proposal on February 18th.
